just read abt opening up the rt brain for the kids using flashcards!
since ryan is 9mths old, i had been using flashcards.
since anson been abt the age me oso using flashcards.
its really important to start v young as to allow them to know its flash card time and sit down opp to u and u flash card to them to teach them.
if u start too late, they are not able to sit throughout the flashcard. not interested anymore.
my suggestion is start by siting on a high chair.
i usually flash card not too fast nor slow.
abt 5 sec i think, then just now read if u wan kids to open up rt brain u have to flash 1-2 sec only.
if too long the left brain will take over and think.
so i know from 2molo on, i will flash within the 2 sec.
its good. my kids are able to sit throughout my flash card and teaching every day when i teach.
they transform from high chair to chair tat need to be tied to now just their mini sofa.
who say open rt brain need to go sch? we can teach ourself. of cos by geting the correct information la.
kids brains are frigile, must get the correct starting if not they might get all wrongly tied up...
so got time go read more stuff in internet. haha
when i always feels i ran out of stuff to teach the kids i will read up and BOMZ! haha.. i got the determination to teach them liao...
from 0 - 6 yrs old kids asorb most.
so its ok to start from 0 yrs old.
for anson , i think i started too late liao. seem like he bit slower than ryan...
but he is catching up...
been teaching him shapes, colors, animals, things, food. and stuff.
and he knows them... good... wats next!! ... haha...
hope my teaching and the extra courses will build a strong foundation for them before they hit pri 1. then pri 1 onward ur had to be on ur own liao...
